Abstract
This refers to an artificial grass carpet with a spine and a quantity of artificial grass blades attached to it and protruding from its surface perpendicularly. The artificial grass shows an irregular cut and the blades have a narrower diameter at certain points of its length. Thanks to this narrowing of the diameter near the free end of the blades of artificial grass, the grass looks very natural and has properties very similar to a field of natural grass. It also refers to the method for making an artificial grass carpet, as well as to the configuration on which that method can be applied. The diameter can be narrowed by interlacing the blades of artificial grass. Before, during or after this interweave, the blades can be plasticized by heating them, for example, at localized points.
