'USO DE UM CATALISADOR, E, PROCESSO PARA A REDUçãO CATALìTICA DE NOx EM MISTURAS DE NOx, O2 E COMPOSTOS DE HIDROCARBONETOS' Um catalisador que compreende: (a) de 20 a 97% em peso de AL2 O3, (b) de 1 a 40% em peso de CuO, (c) de 1 a 50% em peso de ZnO, (d) de 1 a 40% em peso de Ag, (e) de 0 a 20% em peso de Pt, (f) de 0 a 2% em peso de óxidos de metais de terra-rara, elementos do terceiro subgrupo da Tabela Periódica dos Elementos ou suas misturas, baseado no peso total de componentes (a) a (e), que totaliza 100% em peso, no qual, em cada caso, até metade do peso do componente (a) pode ser substituido por Fe2O3, CR2O3, Ga2 O3ou suas misturas, do componente (b) por CoO, do componente (c) por MgO, do componente (d) por Au e do componente (e) por Pd, Ru, Os, Ir, Rh, Re ou suas misturas, é usado para a redução de NOx, especialmente em gases resultantes de combustão, formando os componentes (a), (b) e (c) um espinélio que está dopado com os componentes (d), (e) e (f).
