Abstract
A heating and air-conditioning unit in a motor vehicle, which can also temper the fresh air in an economical and space-saving manner, comprises a central operating unit (B) with a rotary knob (K) for adjusting a first air flap (LK1) in a fresh air duct (G1) leading to a fresh air nozzle (D) in the median plane, a second air flap (LK2) in a defroster air duct (G2) and a third air flap (LK3) in a foot space air duct (G3). To this end, the rotary knob (K) controls, via a central sliding disk (1), the first air flap )LK1) and an auxiliary air flap (LKZ) in a warm air bypass duct (G1Z), said auxiliary air flap also supplying the fresh air nozzle (D) and being coupled linearly or non-linearly, with intermediate hold position, with the first air flap (LK1), so that in the ''median plane'' setting (K1) the first air flap (LK1) is in the open position and the auxiliary air flap (LKZ) is in the closed position, in the setting region between ''median plane'' (K1) and ''defroster'' (K2) or ''foot space'' (K3) the first air flap (LK1) and the auxiliary air flap (LKZ) are in the open position and in the ''defroster'' (K2) or ''foot space'' setting (K3) the first air flap (LK1) and the auxiliary air flap (LKZ) are in the closed position.
