Abstract

Composition (A) for cleaning dental instruments comprises one or more amino acid or its salt (amino carboxylate) (20-70, preferably 27.5-70 parts by weight); one or more hydroxy acid and/or its salt (15-45 parts by weight); one or more alkali- metal carbonate and or -hydrogen carbonate (0-50 parts by weight); one or more surfactant (0-5 parts by weight); one or more tableting auxiliary materials (0-10 parts by weight); one or more corrosion inhibitor (0-5 parts by weight) and one or more further additives (0-55 parts by weight). Composition (A) for cleaning dental instruments comprises one or more amino acid or its salt (amino carboxylate) (20-70, preferably 27.5-70 parts by weight); one or more hydroxy acid and/or its salt (15-45 parts by weight); one or more alkali- metal carbonate and or -hydrogen carbonate (0-50 parts by weight); one or more surfactant (0-5 parts by weight); one or more tableting auxiliary materials (0-10 parts by weight); one or more corrosion inhibitor (0-5 parts by weight) and one or more further additives (0-55 parts by weight); where pH of (A), when mixing the above components with water (4000 parts by weight) is 7-9.5. Independent claims are included for: (1) aqueous cleaning liquid for dental instruments comprising the composition, which is dissolved or dispersed in water (maximum 10000, preferably 2000-6000 parts by weight); and (2) a method for the removal of impurities of acid-base-cement comprising contacting an article containing the impurities of acid base cement, with an aqueous cleaning liquid.
