Abstract
The invention relates to a device 10 for constricting and/or dividing a sausage strand 20 moving in the transport direction T, having two dividing devices 1a, 1b located opposite one another in relation to the sausage strand 20, each comprising:- a disk rotatably mounted about a first axis A, C 2a, 2b, - a disc 3a, 3b, arranged above it and rotatably mounted about a second axis B, D with an axial distance x to the first axis A, C, - at least two connecting elements 4a, 4b, of which at least one is a displacement element 5a, 5b has,wherein a first end of the respective connecting element 4a, 4b is rotatably mounted in the first disk 2a, 2b at a respective distance r from the first axis A, C and a second end in the second disk 3a, 3b at the same distance r from second axis B, D is rotatably mounted, whereby the connecting elements 4a, 4b are guided in such a way that the at least one displacement element 5a, 5b during its rotation about the first Ac hse A, C is always aligned at a predetermined angle, in particular 90°, to the transport direction T.
