Abstract
The briquette is made of a mixture that contains85 to 98% of slag matter from the second treatmentof aluminum, from 1 to 8% of the matter is acetatepolyvinyl dispersion as polymeric agglutination and the restIt is represented by water; the most convenient form of the briquetteIt is the cylindrical shape. The briquette is obtained in such a way that,each of the components of the mortar is mixed in themixer until it acquires a homogeneous state, then itpress giving it a briquette shape, then starts drying atemperature from 120 to 200ºC to a maximum content1.5% of the residual weight of water in the briquette. During themixing the components for the briquette in the mixer to ahomogeneous state, the automatic mixing and advantageously heats upat a temperature of 25 to 99 ° C.
