Abstract
There is provided a leukocyte eliminating filter capable of exhibiting an excellent performance of eliminating leukocyte and platelet, which can be obtained through a simple process comprising the steps of coating a substrate constituting the filter with a polymer having a chemical structure represented by any one of the following formulas (I) and (II), and heat-drying the coated polymer: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 may be the same or different and are individually hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 is CONH.sub.2 or COOH; R.sup.8 is an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms; and x is an integer of 3 or 4.
