Herbicidal 3,4,6-trisubstituted 1,2,4-triazin-5(4H)-ones of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents hydrogen or methyl, R.sup.2 represents amino, methylamino or methyl and R.sup.3 represents methylthio, ethylthio, methylamino, ethylamino, allylamino, dimethylamino, methylethylamino or diethylamino. Novel intermediates therefor are also shown.
