Abstract
Graft polymers having graft shells of copolymers of styrenes, .alpha.-methyl styrenes, acrylonitrile, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 vinyl carboxylic acids, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl acrylates and/or alkyl methacrylates, maleic acid derivatives, vinyl(idene) chloride and mixtures thereof on the one hand and monomers corresponding to formula I ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 =H, CH.sub.3, R.sup.2 =C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkylene, R.sup.3 =C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl on the other hand and graft bases of particulate diene and/or acrylate rubbers having particle diameters (d.sub.50) of from 80 to 800 nm, and thermoplastic molding compounds containing these graft polymers.
