Abstract
A tamper-evident labelling material includes a base layer of synthetic paper that is printable on its upper surface, and an adhesive layer on the lower surface of the base layer. The base layer includes a layer of biaxially-oriented and voided high density polyethylene (HDPE) that has a density of not more than 0.6 cm.sup.-3.
