Abstract
Preparation of substituted 2-aminopyrazines by reaction of an .alpha.-chloro or .alpha.-bromo oxime with an aminoacetonitrile in the presence of an acid-uptake agent, followed by separation of the intermediate novel hydroxyimino-substituted aminoacetonitrile, and cyclization thereof with acid.
