Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-sided ring spinning frame allowing to easily handle a sliver to a draft part at the time of a sliver breakage or an exchange of a can and easy to handle the can. SOLUTION: This spinning frame has cans 14 accommodating two lines of slivers and arranged in two lines of back and forth at the backside of the machine and a sliver guiding means 30 located at the upper side of the cans 14 so that the height thereof is a height at which the handling of the sliver S is easy and a size of the cans 14 is set so that the occupied area of the cans 14 at the backside of the machine is an area at which the handling of the sliver S is easy. Therefore, since the height of the cans becomes lower than conventional machines and the number of cans further becomes half of the number of spindles, the treated amount of the cans when exchanging can be halved as compared with the conventional machines and an operation of the cans, an operation of a piecing of the sliver at the time of the sliver breakage, etc., are simplified.
