Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust cleaning apparatus 1 capable of adding urea water of a proper quantity without directly measuring NOx discharge quantity by using NOx measuring means.SOLUTION: An exhaust cleaning apparatus 1 which reduces nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas by using urea water as a reductant includes a temperature sensor 12, a humidity sensor 13 and a control device 14. In the control device 14, a map M in which an actual NOx discharge amount Nr at each rotation number and each load of an engine 20 at a predetermined temperature and absolute humidity of the air is converted to a standard NOx discharge amount Ns at each rotation number and each load of the engine 20 in the standard state by a correction formula F is stored. From the map M, the standard NOx discharge amount Ns corresponding to the rotation number R detected by the rotation number sensor 20a and the load L detected by the load sensor 23a is calculated and the standard NOx discharge amount Ns is converted to the actual NOx discharge amount Nr at the temperature T and at the absolute humidity H by a correction formula F to calculate the addition amount Q of the urea water.
