PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition for textile printing which provides dyed portions excellent in light resistance when used in printing nylon; a textile printing method using the same; and fabrics with dyed portions excellent in light resistance.SOLUTION: The invention provides a coloring composition for textile printing, which contains a dye represented by the general formula (X) and water. M represents a hydrogen atom, a metal element, a metal oxide, a metal hydroxide or a metallic halide.
