Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type transmission mechanism capable of generating a pushing power for pushing a slider kept under transmission work from its neutral position to its transmitting position toward the transmitting position without requiring any additional member while keeping a detent action performed by a detent mechanism.SOLUTION: A recess for a transmission position of a detent mechanism includes the deepest part where a detent salient member is positioned at the inner-most position in regard to a radial direction of an operating shaft and an inclination surface positioned in regard to a peripheral direction from the deepest part toward a recess part for a neutral position and its depth becomes shallow as it approaches from the deepest part toward the recess part for the neutral position, the inclination surface is formed to be engaged with the detent salient member when the slider is positioned at a transmission midway position from the neutral position to the transmission position in regard to an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
