Abstract
According to the present invention, a hovercraft having a stealth function comprises: a hull part having a cabin formed therein; a power generating part provided in the hull part to supply buoyancy force by which the hull part is floated, and propulsion force by which the hull part is propelled; a skirt provided below the hull part to float the hull part by the buoyancy force supplied from the power generating part; an opening and closing louver assembly provided in an air intake formed in the outer surface of the hull part, and including a plurality of opening and closing louvers; and a steering louver assembly provided on the outer surface of the hull part and on the port and starboard sides of the rear of the opening and closing louver assembly, and including a plurality of rudder louvers rotated and opened and closed respectively. At least one of the opening and closing louver assembly and the steering louver assembly has inclined shapes laterally symmetrical to each other to scatter electromagnetic-wave incident energy form a radar together with the outer surface of the hull part, and has the shape of a protrusion and recess surface. Accordingly, the stealth exterior technology, the noise reduction technology of a power system, and the stealth paint technology can be applied to the hovercraft floated on the water and propelled, which makes it difficult to detect the hovercraft even with a radar or sonar.
