Abstract
The present disclosure is related to a high performance structural vinylester resin by using the interpenetrating polymer network technology characterized by its physical-chemical stability, good miscibility and high impact resistance properties offering enhanced capabilities for design and manufacturing of composite materials components which due to the development of the polyurethane graft technology in the hydroxyl groups of the vinylester network achieves a better miscibility with the polyurethane polymer network, with which there will not be a chemical crosslinking but only physical. Under the formulation conditions described herein and the process, it is possible to obtain excellent mechanical properties.
