Abstract
Disclosed is an apparatus for chopping whole, dry herb leaves, comprising: a container, an inner chopper, an outer chopper, an agitator, and a dust cap. The container can hold food or herbs to be chopped. The inner chopper is partially disposed inside the container. The container is positioned partially inside of the outer chopper. The container is rotated relative to the outer chopper causing the herb leaves to be chopped by the inner and outer choppers and dispensed out of the chopper through dispensing holes formed in the outer chopper. The ability of the chopper to chop whole herbs, at the time of culinary use, results in improved freshness.
