Abstract
WHERE THE CHEMICAL MODIFICATION IS SELECTED FROM THE GROUP THAT CONSISTS OF: A) ESTERIFICATION OF INSATURATED FATTY ACIDS MALLOYED WITH RICINOLEIC ACID; B) AMIDATION OF MALLOYED UNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS WITH A POLYAMINE THAT CAUSES CROSS LINKAGE BETWEEN MALLEATED FATTY ACID MOLECULES; C) A COMBINATION OF ESTERIFICATION AND AMIDATION OF MALLEATED UNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS, USING AN AMINOALCOHOL PROVIDED IN AN AMOUNT THAT CAUSES CROSS-LINKAGE BETWEEN MOLECULES OF MALLEATED FATTY ACID; D) ESTERIFICATION OF MALLEATED NON-SATURATED FATTY ACIDS WITH SELECTED ALKINYLALCOHOL FROM PROPARGYL ALCOHOL, 1-HEXIN-3-OL, 5-DECINE-4,7-DIOL, OXYALKYLATED PROPARGYL ALCOHOL AND MIXTURES OF THEM; E) AMIDATION OF UNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS MALLOYED WITH MORPHOLINE; F) AMIDATION OF NON-SATURATED FATTY ACIDS MALLOYED WITH A FATTY IMIDAZOLINE; G) ESTERIFICATION OF UNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS MALLOYED WITH A PHOSPHATE ESTER; H) MODIFICATION OF THE METAL CHELATOR; I) REACTION OF UNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS MALLOYED WITH AN AMINO ACID; J) MODIFICATION OF XANTATE; K) MODIFICATION OF THIOFOSTATE ESTER; L) MODIFICATION OF HYDROXAMIC ACID; M) MODIFICATION OF SULPHONATE; AND, N) MODIFICATION OF SULPHATE AND COMBINATIONS OF THE SAME. THE COMPOUND OBTAINED IS USED TO REDUCE CORROSION, EMULSIFY A MATERIAL, SEPARATE A VALUED MATERIAL FROM A SOLUTION CONTAINING IT, REMOVE AIRBORNE DUST, AND REDUCE THE VISCOSITY OF A CEMENTOUS WATER PASTE
