Abstract
A pressurizer for building pressure of a fluid in a vessel includes a pump, a motor, a controller, and a transducer. The pump has an outlet disposed to deliver the fluid to the vessel. The motor is configured to drive the pump according to a pulse-width modulated (PWM) drive signal, and the controller is configured to deliver the PWM drive signal to the motor. The transducer is configured to generate a pressure signal indicative of a pressure of the fluid at the outlet, and to deliver the pressure signal to the controller. The controller is configured to adjust a duty cycle of the PWM drive signal based on the pressure signal.
