A clock data recovery method and device for a branch signal in an SDH. The method comprises: extracting valid data of signals from each path of time slot of a synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) frame structure, and storing same in storage spaces respectively corresponding to various paths of time slots in a cache; recovering a clock signal and a read-out signal of each path of time slot in a time division multiplexing manner; and when the read-out signal of any path of time slot is valid, reading out data content from the storage space corresponding to this path of time slot in the cache, and latching same into a latch corresponding to the time slot. The device comprises: a data extraction module, a clock recovery circuit and a data recovery module.
