This hard coat film is provided with a hard coat layer via a highly adhesive layer on at least one side of a cycloolefin film. The hard coat film has excellent adhesion over time under normal conditions and under conditions of high humidity and heat, and cracks do not occur in the hard coat film under conditions of high heat. The hard coat film (10) is provided with a hard coat layer (3) via a highly adhesive layer (2) on at least one side of a cycloolefin film (1). The highly adhesive layer (2) contains a mixture of a polyolefin resin and a styrene-acrylic resin. The mixing ratio (parts by weight) of the resins is, for example, in the range of 95/5 to 40/60. In addition, the hard coat layer (3) contains an ionizing radiation-curable resin having a weight-average molecular weight of 700 to 3,600 inclusive.
