The present invention relates to a targeted shell for a drug delivery system. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a targeted shell for use in a drug delivery system. Utilizing the reactivity of a thiol and an alkyl halide, the targeted shell incorporates a silole-containing carbosilane dendrimer and a marker protein (such as a green fluorescent protein) containing a target-recognizing site, and is able to encapsulate a biopolymer or other molecule, and to selectively deliver the biopolymer or the like into target cells.
