Abstract
A creasing device (1) for forming creases (C) comprising a frame (2) with a substantially horizontal support surface (3) for supporting an article to be creased (A) and a pair of tools, a movable tool (6) and a stationary tool (5), the latter comprising a stationary member (12) and at least one displaceable member (1 3) whose position can be adjusted in height relative to the stationary member (12). First actuator means (11) act upon the movable tool (6) to move it toward the stationary tool (5) and interact with the opposite faces (Fs, Fl) of the article (A), and second actuator means (14) act upon the displaceable member (13) to translate it between a first end position (P1) in which it is designed to interact with the movable tool (6) and a second end position (P2) in which it cannot interact with the movable tool (6) and guide means (19) associated with the stationary tool (5) to guide the displaceable member (13) between the first end position (P1) and the second end position (P2). The guide means (19) are of the type having a curvilinear path (T) contained in a plane (ττ) substantially perpendicular to the support surface (3). A creasing machine comprising the aforementioned creasing device (1).
