Abstract
Disclosed is a battery back that protects internal components from external impact and effectively prevents internal short circuiting. A battery pack according to the present invention for achieving the above objective comprises: a plurality of can-type secondary batteries arranged lying down in a horizontal direction; a bus bar, at least a portion of which is made of an electrically conductive material to electrically connect the plurality of can-type secondary batteries; at least one module case having an empty space formed therein so as to accommodate the plurality of can-type secondary batteries; and an insulating tube surrounding the outer wall of the module case, and having a plurality of embossed structures formed on the outer surface thereof, wherein portions of the embossed structures protrude outward.
