Abstract
The invention relates to a method for operating an electrical drive system (1) for a vehicle, comprising at least one electrical three-phase machine (2), a battery (3) for supplying the electrical three-phase machine (2) with electrical energy, and an inverter (4) via which the electrical three-phase machine (2) is or can be electrically coupled to the battery (3), wherein a star point (7) of the electrical three-phase machine (2) is or can be electrically coupled to a positive pole connection (8) of a DC charging connection of the electrical drive system (1), and a negative potential line (6) of the battery (3) is or can be electrically coupled to a negative pole connection (9) of the DC charging connection of the electrical drive system (1). The star point (7) of the electrical three-phase machine (2) is or can be electrically coupled to the positive pole connection (8) of the DC charging connection of the electrical drive system (1) via a first switch (S1); the negative potential line (6) of the battery (3) is or can be electrically coupled to the negative pole connection (9) of the DC charging connection of the electrical drive system (1) via a second switch (S2); and the positive pole connection (8) of the DC charging connection of the electrical drive system (1) is or can be electrically coupled via a third switch (S3) to a tap of an intermediate circuit capacitor (C1) and in turn to the positive potential line (5) via same.
