A method for treating a laterite-nickel ore feed liquid having a high calcium and magnesium content and a use. The method comprise the following steps: S1, preparing 2-hexyldecanoic acid and an HBL110/HBL116 extractant into an extraction organic phase; S2, carrying out nickel-cobalt co-extraction on the extraction organic phase and a laterite-nickel ore feed liquid having a high calcium and magnesium content to obtain a first loaded organic phase and raffinate, wherein in the laterite-nickel ore feed liquid having a high calcium and magnesium content, the content of calcium ions is 0.5-1 g/L, the content of magnesium ions is 4-7 g/L, the content of nickel ions is 2.5-4 g/L, and the content of cobalt ions is 0.2-0.5 g/L; S3, using a washing liquid to wash the first loaded organic phase to obtain a second loaded organic phase and washing water, and enabling the washing water to flow back to the laterite-nickel ore feed liquid having a high calcium and magnesium content; S4, adding a back-extraction solution into the second loaded organic phase, and carrying out back-extraction to obtain a nickel-cobalt salt solution and an organic phase having undergone back-extraction; and S5, carrying out saponification on the organic phase having undergone back-extraction to obtain a regenerated extraction organic phase. The present solution is applied to a high calcium and magnesium environment, and calcium and magnesium can be prevented from forming a third phase, thereby achieving a good effect of separating and purifying nickel-cobalt.
