IP Transaction Counsel

Description

IP Transaction Counsel will be responsible for a range of licensing and patent related work with a focus on intellectual property transactional matters including software license agreements, patent license agreements, intellectual property indemnity agreements and other related intellectual property transaction documents. Other areas include responsibility for managing and supporting patent assertions and patent licensing matters. In this role, the attorney will participate in and be responsible for all aspects of licensing with a focus on drafting and reviewing licensing related agreements.

Requirments

• Licensed Attorney with at least 5 years work experience in the area of IP transactions including software licenses, patent licenses, indemnity agreements, and other related intellectual property transaction agreements
• US PTO registration preferred
• Experience with patent assertions, patent prosecution, and patent litigation desirable
• Experience as an engineer in the electronics/telecommunications industry is desirable
• Undergraduate background in either electrical engineering or computer science preferred
• Previous experience working as a patent attorney for a wireless manufacturer or high technology company in the telecommunications industry or at a law firm serving wireless or telecommunications industry companies preferred
