Patent Attorney – Chemical, Material Science

This world class international corporation is looking for an IP Counsel with a chemical/chemical engineering/materials background to provide legal support to several business units. Significant experience in foreign filings is needed as this position will manage the company's foreign patent portfolio and review PCT/International Patent Applications and other documents required for foreign filings as well as instruct foreign associates on handling applications. You will prepare and prosecute applications on a worldwide basis; conduct patent searches; work with technical and business managers to identify and protect the company's positions; assess competitive activities and assist in setting IP strategy for assigned business segments; address and handle client counseling matters; and manage outside counsel. This excellent company is looking for an organized and creative individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills who wants to be a strong contributor in a fast paced and exciting environment.
