Description

Part time and/or moonlighting patent prosecution opportunity

Requirments

Hi, we are interested in assistance from someone who is able to take on part time moonlighting work.  (You are unlikely to get POA.)  Work requires reviewing responses to USPTO office action, drafting and amending claims, etc.  We have both an extremely urgent need and a long-term need.   Ideal applicants would have some awareness, experience ,or knowledge of the potential 101 issues in light of latest precedent (e.g., Mayo v. Prometheus, Bilski, etc.), biotech claims, and/or business method claims.

A little about us. We respond to a lot of USPTO office actions. But we are a very small outfit, so you can send a resume without worrying about whether or not it would go into some large database. (It won't.) Also, for privacy protection, if we don't end up working together and you want us to destroy all copies of your resume after x months we are happy to promise to do so, but indicate what x is.

How To Apply

Please send your resume and/or questions to patents1@verizon.net or a message indicating something allowing me to get at least
(1) your phone number
(2) availability hours in eastern standard time zone. (There is the opportunity to work in both the evenings and nights weekends and weekdays.)
(3) whether an hourly billing rate would be high, medium, or low.

If you prefer, you can also call us at (202) 315-0657.
