Job Description: The attorney will help manage and prosecute patent applications related to graphics, video, and user interface technologies.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
� Preparation and prosecution of worldwide patent applications related to graphics, video and user interfaces
� Patent portfolio management
� Assistance with patent analysis, patent litigation, patent licensing, and patent purchases
� Assistance with internal patent group related projects
Requirments
� Minimum of 5 years in law firm and/or in-house corporate experience
� Substantial experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. and non-U.S. patent applications in the electrical and software areas
� Expertise with graphics pipeline specifications (e.g., OpenGL and DirectX) and video encoding and decoding standards (e.g., MPEG-4 and H.264)
� Experience managing patent strategy
� B.S. electrical engineering or computer science or substantial experience with graphics pipelines and video codecs
� J.D. from an accredited university and admission to a state bar
