Our client, an international Fortune 500 company, has engaged us to identify an intellectual property attorney with at least 5 years of experience for a Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property Law position in Philadelphia.  This is an outstanding opportunity to provide a variety of IP counseling to multiple business units, and to help those units develop IP strategies that will optimize value while controlling costs. 


To be considered for this top performing organization, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, and must be registered to practice before the USPTO.  Candidates must also have substantive experience preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications, and must be capable of filing 20 priority applications per year.  Additional experience drafting, reviewing and/or negotiating licensing, confidentiality and joint development agreements would be very beneficial as well.  Responsibilities will include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements, preparing patent infringement and validity opinions, and proving counsel in connection with patent infringement litigation.
