Description
Keith Ross & Associates is engaged in a search assignment for a Patent Attorney on behalf of a corporation located in Texas. The attorney will be responsible for a variety of I.P. legal matters including preparing and prosecuting patent applications as well as liaise with outside counsel on overflow case writing; interact with business and technical teams to offer direction on patent issues, analysis and counsel on I.P. matters; assist in maintenance and further development of the patent portfolio; freedom-to-operate evaluation; various I.P. agreement drafting, review and negotiation.
Requirments
Applicants require at least two years of experience as a patent attorney in the mechanical or electrical arts. A registered U.S.P.T.O. patent attorney. J.D., state licensed as an attorney. Preferably an advanced science degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or related. Competitive compensation is offered including full menu of work/life benefits.
