Keith Ross & Associates Inc. is engaged in a search assignment for a patent attorney or patent agent on behalf of an intellectual property law firm located in the Southeast region of the United States. Our client’s technologies and product matter are in the electronic, telecommunication, semiconductor, software, biomedical, and mechanical areas.

To be considered for this role we ask that a minimum of ten patent applications be written in one’s career. In this position you will prepare and prosecute United States patent applications on a broad selection of inventions, portfolio analysis, reexaminations/reissues work with other attorneys, agents, and clients in protecting innovations in the above-mentioned technologies. For attorney’s additional responsibilities include various opinion rendering, freedom to operate, agreement drafting, client counseling, implementing and managing intellectual property strategies on behalf of clients of the firm as needed.        

 Our client is offering a competitive compensation package including a salary of $120,000 to $150,000, and complete menu of benefits including 401(k) and relocation assistance. Requirments

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a patent attorney or patent agent, an educational technical background related to electrical engineering and registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
