Biography
Christine M. Hansen is a partner at Connolly Bove Lodge and Hutz LLP focusing on counseling pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical companies on global patent matters and on patent prosecution. She has also successfully argued appeals before the United States Patent and Trademark Office Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. Early in her career, she worked extensively on several patent trials, including a patent jury trial. This experience enhances her ability to counsel clients and prosecute applications. Chris' clients include Fortune 100 companies as well as start-up ventures.
Prior to joining Connolly Bove, Chris was corporate patent counsel at the pharmaceutical company Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Inc. (now sanofi-aventis). Her responsibilities included patent prosecution, license drafting and opinion writing in the areas of new medicines, formulations and drug delivery devices. Chris has a degree in chemistry from Princeton University and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Marburg in Germany. She graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
